Hello Bee-L,

Ben Franklin was a scientist in the truest sense. He behaved the way most
scientists operated in that era.

I find the conclusion that most scientists are in the pockets of someone
and incapable of objective reasoning to be highly offensive. That
statement serms baseless and loosely stated. Surely, there are people who
allow subjective forces guide their scientific activities, but my
experience suggests that they are a minority. Most scientists that I know
really and truly try to solve problems with objectivity and as unbiased a
procedure for testing hypotheses as possible.

Sincerely,

Jeff Harris
