> country of origin - is in my view necessary for consumers to make an informed decision. Honestly, I have a international honey collection. The more unusual the origin, the more it interests me. I have honey from many states including Maine, Montana, California, Florida. I have honey from all sorts of European countries including Scotland, Spain, Croatia, Italy, France. I don't have anything from Australia nor Asia at present but anyone who wants to send some my way, I am keen on getting it. The idea that only local honey is worth eating, is silly to me. In fact, I almost never drink local wine, preferring to get it from countries like Chile or Sicily.
