I tried when it was first available.  Yes, crowded out the broodnest.
Now only maintained as a research line at UC Davis.

I started looking after I read Walt's writing.  Actually starting
looking at a number of things after doing so.  Yes, I see at certain
times of the year.

Walt's a keen observer, and a number of his observations make sense.
Although I don't necessarily agree with some of his management
suggestions, I don't feel that he deserves some of the snarky
comments.  He doesn't do internet, since I'm sure we would be having
some interesting discussions if he did!
