Yes, compete with beekeepers. Example: on 6-15-07, in a message titled
"Pollinator Momentum" Bob Pyle - the founder of the Xerces Society -
wrote on [log in to unmask]:

One thing the honeybee alarum has accomplished, whether overbuzzed or
