For those of you interested in killing a hive, there are many ways but the
quickest is to first slide 3-4 sheets of newspaper into the entrance to form
a sponge of sorts and to then pour about 2 cups of gasoline into the hole in
the inner cover. Do it at night when all the bees are home and when they
won't bother you 'too much'.

You will get a mighty roar, and the fumes kill the bees in about 30 seconds.

Wait a hour or so for all fumes to dissipate and then burn everything.
