I have some pure Russians yellow/blue line and some pure SMR queens. I'm thinking of open mating some daughters and making splits for the rest of the summer. I have heard that hybrids of the Russians aren't so docile. What have been your observations? I have also heard that hybrids of SMRs retain most of the mite resistance of their mothers. Which queens would you use to make splits? Mike __________________________________ Yahoo! Mail Stay connected, organized, and protected.
