"Clothianidin"

I am sure that this seed treatment on conola seed is illigal in Canada. It
was taken off the market three or four years ago. I grow canola and
remember using this stuff, It was deadly to handle, very toxic, but
excellent to control the very damaging flea beetle. There is a new
treatment, Vitazex as a trade name, not as leathal, but holds a much shorter
residual towards the flea beetle, two weeks. If it doesnt kill a flea
beetle after two weeks, then I'm sure the bees are safe. After that the
only option is a douse of insecticide.
I'm going to look in my pesticide bookelt and conferm
