Glenn Hile Too soon to worry about a honeybound nest. Wait until your hives start brooding up, and then atleast you can do something about it without hurting the colony. I would wait until you unwrap, if you wrap, or when the bees start bringing in pollen. Then relieve some of the conjestion, and save it for your splits. Dont worry about swarming until your well into your dandilion flow, that would be a good time to split your hive if necessary...
