Todd,
We had a hummer we named Attila the Hum.  He would wait around the side of
the house for any of the other locals to visit "His" feeder, then attack, or
he would sit guard on the Wisteria next to the feeder and dare any potential
intruder to visit his feeder, and we too had the "Dog Fight" only one ended
up on the deck and had to be retrieved before the cat had a "bite" so I held
him until he revived!  What an experience.

They are an incredible little bird.  Sort of like a terrier-more guts than
brains!!
