BTW, once you finally look at the maps in the study you may realize that
pesticide residues measured in the study were unlikely to be carried for
many miles horizontally through soil, despite the natural movements of
water.

Chislain did provide me with a link.  Which was very useful.  I did notice the map you mentioned and I think what you call an emulsifier I have been taught to call a surfactant.  Anyway my point is that many of these products can and will move around via water and of course what I still don't know is what are the primary methods of applying these product at that location.  As I suggest in an off line comment to Chislain Table 2 at least to my own economic/production mind set is quite interest especially if you produce a quick trend line on these identified products total use over time (for that general area).
