Lloyd asked "Has anyone tried the OA strips?"

I would be interested to see published research results of evaluating the
efficacy of the OA strips.

I heard in a recent meeting that the efficacy of the strips was very low
in comparison to the oxalic acid fumes or dripping of liquid acid on bees.
The low efficacy of the strips could be the result of bees not getting
enough material to cover their body. So far, sublimation of OA or dripping
of OA in sugar syrup are the most effective methods of controlling the
mites.
