In addition to the online book Tim and Keith mentioned, the book ‘Entertaining with Insects’ by
Ronald L. Taylor is available for a reasonable price from used booksellers.

The book has recipes for several insects including honey bees. Some of those tasty sounding
recipes include: Cricket Crisps, Beetle Sausage, Honey Bee Souffle´, Insect a l’Escargot, Cricket
Pot Pie, Honey Bee Granola Bars.

Also in the small book are instructions on raising your own insects as a food source, including
rearing wax moths, Galleria mellonella (as if beekeepers don’t already know how to raise those!)

Bon Appetit´
Dick Allen
