The current lasers are in the infra-red.  Neither these lasers nor the 
stronger, green laser that we used at Ft Leonard Wood had any effect on the 
bees -- they flew in and out of the beam with no obvious response -- we've 
never seen any evidence of problems with their vision, orientation, 
increased mortality, traffic through our counters -- things we were 
concerned about.
