Is ultra fitered honey still honey or is it 'something else'? If the
Australians are looking and testing for it,this implies that they have
decided it is not meeting the legal definition of honey.Is that true?Given
the recent widespread illegal circumvention of the anti-dumping ruling ,
with the collusion of importers in other countries,I am suspicious that
this is another scheme to get around the tarrifs.
 If the packers start using this stuff,I think small beekeepers might want
to put on their labels:REAL HONEY(CONTAINS NO ULTRA-FILTERED IMPORTED
HONEY)That will sure raise a question or two.Importer/Packers are skating
on thin ice with this one,I think.
One final comment.If the Chinese would let their currency float instead of
pegging it to the dollar,it would go a long way towards restoring balance
,and help eliminate a lot of the hard feelings towards China by producers
in other countries that are getting killed by them.
