Hello Peter & All,

Peter said:
<Whilst working with bees in France, I placed large fencing staples at the
required distance between the frames - just above the lower bar - That
stopped swinging.

I have seen staples used as you say. I try to hives move carefully . Keep
the pallet level and not swing around. Many guys love their Bobcats but the
Swinger is easier on the frame movement but many would say otherwise.

I am moving bees tonight and just got released by the Johnson Co. Sheriffs
dept. I place bees on large ranches and they thought I was loading cattle
until the drove up on me (with their lights out). They made me wait until
they woke the land owner up to say I was supposed to be on the ranch. I
showed the deputy I had the key to the locked gate but he still wanted to
talk to the land owner
.
I think I will catch a few hours shut eye and start the next load at four
AM.

What do commercial beekeepers and prostitutes have in common?
We both work at night and charge for our services!

bob
