I used to use light bulbs, but when they burn out (frequently) you can come back and find the honey is still cold!

Tubular 3' heaters last forever and give a very even heat.

This is the reason I use two light bulbs.  It can work on one if one burns out and they do.  It seems todays bulbs don't last as long as they once did.

My "freezer" works well for liquefying buckets and for clarifying jars.  Keeping it at 100 degrees I expect I do little harm to the honey.
