This seems to me to be a very irresponsible way to take a swarm, especially
from someone's garden.  The fliers can hang around for days causing
considerable problems.  We used to have an association member who did this
regularly and I was called on several occasions to try to sort out the
mess - eventually we quietly removed him from the swarm list!

You are also getting a much smaller swarm than you would if you left the box
until evening before wrapping it up.
