A follow up to Joel's original question. I also treat with checkmite in
the late fall. I worry that when I put honey supers on the first of
May, there may be a tendancy for bees to bring honey, either fresh or
that which they over wintered with, up from the brood boxes into the
honey supers to make additional room for brood rearing. If this happens
it would seem that contamination is possible. This is so obvious that I
assume it was reviewed and found not to be an issue. Would like some
thoughts on this.
