The web site http://savethebees.net is up.   A local letter writing
campaign has been initiated.  The city council will have a study
session at the end of the month.  The ideal situation will be that a
majority of the council will vote to just leave things as they are at
this time.  If that happens, honeybees will continue to be handled
under the nuisance laws.  If that doesn't happen then in mid-April
there will be a city council meeting where the public can be heard
before the council votes on whether to restrict honeybee keepers to
the very minimal agriculture zones in the city or not.

I will post more as things develop.  Thank you for the support and
interest.
