Finally, a correct comment.  Honey bees are going to outlast us, regardless of what we do or don't do.

Poor beekeepers, running unmanaged bees tend to go out of business.  The Darwinian principle applies to the beekeeper - just be glad that death of the beekeeper isn't the measure of fitness.
