ASU researchers find link between social behavior,
maternal traits in bees.

Research may show why queenless colonies tend to hoard
pollen.

Might also suggest why bees with the trait thelytoky
(to my understanding) collect more pollen.

If collecting pollen is linked to maternal traits,
would this suggest some races are more maternal than
other?
