We do around here. There is a saying "something rotten in Groton." It was the location of honey coop back in the 1960s-70s. Supposedly a lot of barrels were left open around there. Personally, as a NYS apiary inspector, I saw many pockets of infection. Believe it or not, we were forbidden from disclosing this information to beekeepers, other that to say "seen a bit of AFB not too far from here" or some such mumblesome pleasantry.
