Maybe it is because Mr. Turner's organization has stated very clearly that
his goal is to restore things to a state "before white man was so bloody
common across the landscape" (Tampa Tribune March 13, 2000). I see no
reason to think that the white man's flies would be exempt from the stated
goals.
