From My experience the biggest issue is getting them to tight and moisture builds up.  Early ones failed,  but when I added a top entrance that let moisture out,  it solved my problems.  Not sure how you research that.  It’s a combination of keeping in heat,  which is all good,  and not turning them into saunas.   
Lots of research out there about cold storage and the optimal humidity and temp,  not sure how to apply that to a wrap?
