With apologies to Francis Ford Coppola: "Leave the knotweed, take the poison ivy."  There is a long list of 'native' plants that I would happily see replaced by 'invasive' ones.  Regarding the aforementioned PI, it's elimination (and I have tried) would end Erin's annual visits to the ER for treatment.  Note: A strong allergic reaction to PI and free-range chickens is not a good combination.
