Hi Chuck & all

Don't expect too much in the first few seasons, drone flooding improves with
time...

In the first season it helps if you can also trap 'unwanted' drones, in a
second or subsequent season you can allow all daughters of your first year
set of breeders to produce drones as well as relegating the breeders to
drone production.

Use a new set of breeders to produce the female lines in the second year and
use a new set every year thereafter so that this years queens are always
mated to the drones of last years queens.
