To my knowledge there is presently NO genetically modified honey bees out. A few
labs have attempted to get the technology working (there are about 3-4 plublications
now), but it is no way near the stage that any GM bees are surviving, even in the lab.

herhaps your clients are referring to honey from GM crops, which is a totally different
story.
