Hi I<m from New Zealand I run a bee testing service for AFB spores.
Beekeepers send 30 bees in a plastic zip lock bag apon which is written the
hive number and apiary name I culture this at a cost of $4nz the results
have been to date very good spore generators easily identifiable and easily
isolated from the rest of the oporation. cotrol of afb is easy when a no
tolorance attitude is taken fortunatly masking of afb with drugs is not a
problem as we us fire to deal with it and afb hasnt proven resistant to
that.
