No one tried to justify ripping wings off of live flies.

She looks at these issues a bit different that some folks might think in that the first thing she would consider in looking at a experimental methodology is 1) does it answer the question asked and 2)can the question be answered in some way as to not involve animals < I always wanted to ask does a one cell organism in a Petri dish feel pain or discomfort?
