Hi Waldemar,
I like Buckfast because they build up fast in Spring but not as intense as Carniolans. I've had colonies prepare to swarm about the same time as The Italians. There was discussion a year or two ago about Weaver had not had semen imported from Buckfast Abbey in some time, while the Canadian Buckfast Producers had, as recently as last year. If You try Buckfast I wish You success.
