I just wanted to add I was reading about the orchid genus Calopogon
and it seems that they are able to attract bees via false pollen
(thought to have very low nutritional value) on the labellum of the
flower. Since the bees come to these orchids it does make sense that
they may not be able to determine the nutritional value of pollen.

I've tried to send this message 3 times now, hopefully I got it right this time.
