The issue for some of us in rural states is that there are large animals
that like to see how much damage they can do to vehicles. Add tasty plants
by the roadside and brush that can mask their presence and you do add to the
fun of driving in Maine.

Plus, most of all that is being asked for happens naturally after mowing.
Mike noted the bluebonnets and clover. We have large stands of lupin. I saw
beautiful stands of clover driving along I-80 in NY/PA. I am not sure I
understand the need to bring in the bureaucrats (other than money) but do
understand the perils.
