Hello Gavin & All,
The Dadant test kits are for a quick field evaluation.( backed later by lab 
results if needed)  If you do not get a
sound positive or negative (as I have using the kits) then I would
disregard.

As in the case of a pregnancy kit either you are pregnant or not pregnant. 
The
same should be of a field EFB test kit.

Gavin is the first person I have heard of which has said they had trouble
with the AFB and EFB kits.

has others on the list? Perhaps something besides EFB is involved.
