Hello
 
Try substituting propolis.  I've used it, but in conjunction with 'all
weather' rosin for bows obtained from a musical instrument shop.  About
$3, US.  I use Neatsfoot oil instead of linseed oil.  Odorless mineral
spirits are subbed for the terps.
