My wife and I spent a couple of days in downtown Baltimore in September (and were quite impressed with how nicely the waterfront section has been renovated).  I was very delighted to see numerous honey bees on Russian sage and lavender blooms in very urban settings. Made me wonder if there were ferals or managed colonies nearby.
