Well done, Jim!  I largely agree with most of your points.

In an ideal world, the paper would have been released as a preliminary 
report to the CCD group for quick corroboration during the summer. 
Unfortunately, the long review process, and associated secrecy now puts us 
close to fall, and close to the potential market for Aussie imports for 
almond pollination.  Management and import decisions will now need to be 
made with inadequate, and possibly misleading, information.
