Hello Gang,

Foundation support pins are very expensive. If you insist on not wiring
the frames, which is time consuming, but very effective, you can use
hair pins.

The hair pins are much cheaper. They do a good job and will fit the holes in
the frames without burning them out with a soldering iron.
I foolishly used the pins and enlarged the holes to accommodate them
in a batch of deep brood chambers. These will never bee extracted so
strength is not the consideration here.

Wiring produces the straightest comb. This is a great assets because it
reduces burr comb.
