   I don't see anything in this that indicates or even suggests that the
bees are hearing (sensing compression waves in air) anything.  More
probably the bees are responding to a stationary (in space) object flapping
around, dark, but reflecting UV light, breathing out bee breath,
highlighted by wrinkles in a dark, possibly reflective mist net.  I'm
reminded of the black suede (silent) patches we used to wave in front of
feral swarm-trapped hives to measure defensive behavior by counting the
number of stings.
   I'm not saying that bees can't hear. As PB points out, it's unlikely.
Interesting observations, though!
