I bought my Dadant 20 used, and yes, replaced the bearings three years ago.  I called Dadant and they sent me the replacement bearings they had in stock.  It was a piece of cake.  Since then, no problems.
 
You have to expect some wear and tear.  I'm totally happy with my extractor.
