The blind spots of the hooded veil drive me crazy, and I also have the
problem of the round veil and helmet falling off my head when I bend
over. My sons prefer hooded, I've long preferred round with plastic
helmet (don't like the cloth seams of folding veils in my field of
view).

Like Bob, we have dozens of suits on hand, from many manufacturers,
and are always trying to cobble together outfits.

I haven't found the "perfect" suit yet. Each manufacturer focuses
upon different things. I like easy access to my trouser pockets
through the suit. I also like the cut of some suits better than
others. Mann Lake suits hang low on the shoulders, Dadant's fit
better. Betterbee used to stock tall sizes, which I liked.

Although I rarely use a suit during warm weather, helpers generally
do, and really suffer from the heat (and we don't have humidity in
Calif). Kelly used to make an extremely lightweight ripstop nylon
suit that you could fold up into one hand that was cool in the heat.

Manufacturers are always changing zippers and suppliers, so it is hard
to recommend.

I did recently purchase, at Aaron's suggestion, a Sherriff hooded
suit, tall, in "mushroom latte" so as not to show the dirt. Pricey,
but I like the fit, and the visibility is the best I've seen in a
hooded suit. You gotta keep the zipper really clean, or it sticks.
Would recommend.

I'm very interested in everyone's comments and suggestions, as I'm
always on the lookout for the perfect suit for me.
