I was cleaning out my PDA and came across a note from some meeting I
attended that says -- apparently coming from Steve Bernard, the Russian
queen distributor before Charlie took over -- that the Russian queens take
longer to mate than the other strains we know better... 18 days it says
here.

Thought that might be interesting in light of recent discussions.
