Good morning fellow beekeepers and other readers out there in cyber space.
Queen exluders:
This has been and probably will continue to be a subject to be much argumented about. In my opinion it has its pluses and its minuses. It is up to the user to use it properly to obtain best results. If not, the user will be the first to state that it is "no good."
Personally, I still remember the words of my beekeeping mentor in my childhood days: "queen excluders exclude more than just the queen." After 65 years of beekeeping, my observations induce me to agree with him.
Have a wonderful day and God bless.
Dr. Rodriguez
