Yes, but I think this is a project for next year.  We are really at the end
of our season here and I would not want to destroy any brood at this stage -
although the season is very late in the UK and I have seen colonies today
that are almost wall-to-wall with brood - amazing!

I do have some temperature probes (2 for £9.99 from catering equipment
suppliers - £32.99 EACH from Thorne's!), so I will do some tests next year.
