 The unmodified alfalfa is quite resistant to glyphosate (round-up) already.
An alfalfa seed grower in my area told me how he used round-up to control weeds
in his crop.  The dose had to be diluted somewhat.  Alfalfa could almost be
classified as a weed just like sweet clover, which is great for bees.
