Good morning from a very wet Southern Virginia.
Regarding adding vinegar to sugar solution for feeding bees:
This might be a futile effort since it does not take long before the feeder oxidizes becoming somewhat acid, same effect as if adding vinegar. One can smell the presence of vinegar in the feeding containers when opening the hives. (Another advantage of not smoking!)
Best regards and God bless.
Dr. Rodriguez
