A couple points:

When its hot helpers try to get out of a suit as fast as they can and most
zipper failures result from not taking the time to properly zip or unzip the
suit.

The other is stains. Even washing suits they get badly stained.
A Texas beekeeper issues a new suit to each every year. I always liked
seeing Randy in a dirty suit in his articles. Instead of looking good for
the article bee suits without a single stain make professional beekeepers
wonder the amount of time those beekeepers actually spend with their bees
