Having listened to TF1 (French T.V.) this evening where it was mentioned that Salmon in the US have
had their genetic makeup altered to decrease the period required to arrive at a marketable size
- it seems logical to attempt a similar approach with our honey bees - reduce the maturation period,
hence leaving out mutual enemy, Vd. totally stranded in an empty cell before it reaches puberty!
Worth the risk?

Peter
