In Spring management, great play used to be made of ensuring that there
was not a frame, mostly comprising pollen , restricting the brood nest
from expanding sideways. Is it still felt that such a "pollen bar" frame
should be moved towards the side of the brood box and replaced with
empty frames during the spring build up?
