The Maine state inspector says he has seen the best results using 35 grams
for three treatments with the gel put between the brood boxes towards the
back of the hive, no shim between boxes. Putting it in the back of the hive
is because removal of the gel brought it over more space having to bring it
forward towards the entrance.
