Does anyone keep a 3-deep broodnest through the honey flow and see an 
improved honey harvest with a lesser swarming tendency?

I know overwintering in 3-d or 4-d is not a problem - the more space 
underneath the wintering cluster the more relatively draftless air 
for the bees.
